Disclosed is a fuel cell system (100) comprising a fuel cell (1) which generates electricity by using a fuel gas, a fuel gas generation unit (2) which produces the fuel gas by using a raw material gas, a combustion unit (2a) which generates thermal energy for producing the fuel gas, an air supply unit (2b) for supplying air during generation of the thermal energy, and a control unit (101). In this fuel cell system (100), the inside of the fuel cell (1) is filled with the raw material gas before the fuel gas is supplied thereinto, and the control unit (101) increases the amount of air supplied from the air supply unit (2b) into the combustion unit (2a) when the fuel gas produced in the fuel gas generation unit (2) is supplied into the fuel cell (1). |
