<p>An apparatus for feeding eggs to a sorting apparatus, wherein with the aid of the apparatus, an unordered flow of eggs is uniformly distributed into parallel, separate rows extending in a conveying direction (T), comprising: - at least one endless, flat belt conveyor (B), extending in a substantially horizontal plane and forming a conveying path, for conveying the eggs in the conveying direction; - guiding strips (5), disposed above the flat belt conveyor, which, at a downstream part of the flat conveyor belt, bound channels (3) having a width such that in such a channel, in use, one row of the said parallel separate rows is conveyed; wherein upstream of the guiding strips, collecting profiles (6) are disposed, while between downstream disposed extremities of the collecting profiles and upstream disposed extremities of the guiding strips there is a distance which is such that in the space created by this distance, between the egg flows separated by the collecting profiles migration flows can be formed.</p> |
