DIVIDED IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, SOLID-STATE IMAGING DEVICE AND REPRODUCTION DEVICE FOR USE IN THE SAME, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that expanding processing in the case of reproducing an image takes time conventionally since each divide-processed JPEG file is composed and converted to one JPEG image file and recorded in a recording medium, so that it has to be expanded as one JPEG image file in the case of expanding processing.

SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging device 1A inserts two or more kinds of restart markers cyclically at a prescribed position in an image area of one screen of a JPEG compressed image data, and transmits comment segment information showing the dividing number (n) in a vertical direction of the compressed image data and the number of times of appearing in each divided area of a specific one kind of restart markers and the compressed image data. A reproduction device divides the compressed image data into n-pieces with the comment segment information and the inserting position of the specific one kind of restart markers, expand-processes the compressed image data divided into n-pieces independently from each other and in parallel to generate the n-pieces of divided image data at high speed, and generates it as the composed image data of the image area of one screen.
