PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a chattering phenomenon where interior temperature alternates between an upper limit temperature and a lower limit temperature and to construct a comfortable bathroom heating environment favorable in view of bodily sensation. SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes: a heater 10 for heating the air blown into the interior of a room; a temperature sensor 21 for detecting the temperature of air sucked from the interior of the room and outputting the temperature detection information; and a control part 51 for inputting the temperature detecting information from the temperature sensor 21 and performing the temperature control based on the result of comparison between the temperature detecting information and the temperature setting information. When the upper limit temperature and the lower limit temperature in the room are set, the control part 51 heats the air in the room, detects the temperature in the room, stops heating when the interior temperature reaches the upper limit temperature, detects the interior temperature after the lapse of a predetermined time, and compares the interior temperature with the lower limit temperature to perform heating based on the comparison results.
