PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent an ink cartridge 62 from separating from a mounting position at the time of pressure applying operation to the ink cartridge 62 in an inkjet image forming apparatus in which the ink of the ink cartridge 62 is guided out to an ink supplying passage 51 to an ink head H by applying the pressure to the ink cartridge 62 mounted at the mounting position of an ink cartridge mounting part 3. SOLUTION: Interlocking with the pressure applying operation to the ink cartridge 62 mounted at the mounting position of the ink cartridge mounting part 3, the ink cartridge 62 is held so as not to separate from the mounting position. In other words, a piston 82 is slid by supplying to a cylinder 81 a part of pressurized air supplied to the ink cartridge 62, thereby moving a holding member 80 coupled with the piston 82 to an approach position and holding the ink cartridge 62.
