An apparatus for providing multiple screens and a method for dynamic configuration of the same are provided to express plural services, obtained from a cable, satellite, terrestrial broadcast, various storage medium, and external input, through a physical display screen. An apparatus for providing multiple screens comprises the followings: a digital signal processing module(940) which receives at least one of video information, audio information, and data information and restores plural services based on the received information; a service processing module(950) for producing a display screen(970) and plural logical screens for displaying the restored services; and an output module(960) for mapping the generated plurality of logical screens to different locations on the display screen.
