GAS CONTAINER AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

A gas container and a method of producing the gas container, where liner constituting members can be appropriately joined to each other to improve productivity. The gas container has a resin liner constructed by joining the liner constituting members to each other, at least a part of each liner constituting member having a hollow circular tube like form, and has a reinforcement layer provided on the outer periphery of the resin liner. A joining portion of one of the liner constituting members and a joining portion of the other constituting member are circumferentially joined by laser welding. The joining portion of the one liner constituting member is formed from a laser transmitting resin and the joining portion of the other liner constituting member is formed from a laser absorptive resin.
