<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive compressing device capable of performing the compression extraction treatment of a multiple number of cartridges injected with specimen liquid containing nucleic acid in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: This compressing device is equipped with a compression head 16. The compression head 16 is displaced between an air-feeding position and retreating position. The compression head 16 has a multiple number of air-feeding units. The air-feeding unit 30A is constituted with an air nozzle 15A, a check valve 32A and a piston type air pump 31A. The air pump 31A corresponds with the air nozzle as one to one.
