PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a processing time required for inter-component interference check. SOLUTION: A reception part 510 receives derived information including the list of components to be used for derivation and the hierarchical structure of components and component information including the CAD data of all the components included in the derived information. A combination retrieval part 520 retrieves the combination of components whose interference presence/absence has been already decided in the case of operating inter-component interference check for the other derivation of the same product from among the combination of the components included in the derived information from an interference check database 300. Then, as for the combination of the components whose interference check has been already executed, the combination retrieving part 520 confirms whether or not the master components of the two combined components are the same as those in the case of the past interference check. As a result, when the new components are not been changed, the combination retrieval 520 outputs the past interference check result to an interference check part 530. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
