<p>The method involves loading card data from a card data memory (5) into a memory (2). The card data are divided into partitions that follow a geometrical formation rule. Meshes are formed within the partitions. Edges of the meshes are formed either from edges of the partitions or from edges representing roads. The meshes of adjacent partitions, which are separated by a partition boundary, are connected or joined to a continuous partition-overlapping mesh. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a navigation system with a memory (2) a storage medium comprising a digital card.</p> |
