PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily carry out extending and contracting operation of a covering body by rotating operation of a transverse auger and to make the covering body usable as a sunshade or a rain-cover during operation in a combine harvester. SOLUTION: The combine harvester A is equipped with a take-out auger 12 making the transverse auger 12b freely rotatable in the nearly horizontal direction with the top end of a vertical auger 12a as the center. In the combine harvester, the covering body 14 is installed in the transverse auger 12b and made extendable/contractible interlockingly with the rotating operation of the transverse auger 12b in the nearly horizontal direction.
