PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tile tapping plate capable of tapping a surface of a tile securely and sticking the tile to a floor surface or a wall face even when constructing a tile unit constituted by arranging tiles having different thicknesses at random or in a pattern and having a decoration tile having a complicated shape such as a single tile having a slope. SOLUTION: Since a sponge-like member 3 remains recessed on a face where it comes into contact with thick tiles 7a, 7c and remains projected on a face where it comes into contact with thin tiles 7b, 7d, this tile tapping plate 1 can pressurize all the tiles 7 even though strong or weak pressing may occur.
