PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus of a curved glass bulb which has a long service life as well as lower power consumption. SOLUTION: This manufacturing apparatus of a curved class bulb comprises a first holder 2 for holding an end of a straight-tubular glass bulb 1; a base 7 set on the other end side of the glass bulb 1; a driving unit 6 having a motor 8 of which the rotation shaft 8a is connected to the base 7; a second holder 9 for holding the other end of the glass bulb 1 disposed on the base 7; a sheathed wire heater 14 inside which the glass bulb 1 is inserted; and a heating unit 11 having a moving means 12 for moving the sheathed wire heater 14 back and forth along the glass bulb 1, wherein the outside of the circular portion of the sheathed wire heater 14 which is wound in a coil-like shape is covered by a partly cut annular heater cover 15.
