PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system capable of preventing the floor surface of a storage room from being damaged when carrying a storage object in and out of the storage room and smoothly carrying storage furniture such as a cart in and out of the storage room. SOLUTION: A rail 11 for making it possible to move the storage furniture 10 in a suspended state is attached to a ceiling 4a of the storage room 4, and one end part of the rail 11 is positioned at the entrance 5 of the storage room 4. Thus, since the storage furniture is suspended from the rail 11 at the entrance 5 of the storage room 4 and is moved along the rail 11 in the suspended state, the floor surface of the storage room 4 is not damaged. Since the floor surface has no guide groove, a person does not stumble and an article is not fitted to the guide groove to immobilize the storage object.
