PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wireless communication apparatus which achieves efficient extension of a reachable distance of radio waves transmitted from a specific apparatus. SOLUTION: A wireless communication apparatus constitutes a signal transmission system and comprises a transmission unit (25) which transfers a reception signal from a specific wireless communication apparatus to another wireless communication apparatus located outside a reachable area of the signal transmitted by the relevant specific wireless communication apparatus; and a transfer control unit (24) which controls the transmission unit (25) based on a reception signal level.
