PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light control sheet capable of performing uniform and homogeneous illumination irrespective of the position observing a screen, to provide a surface light source device, and to provide a transmission type display device. SOLUTION: A large number of unit lenses 141 are protrudingly formed side by side on a light exiting side. When the pitch between the arranged unit lenses 141 is p and the height from the vertex of a protruded shape of the unit lens 141 up to a root part thereof is h, dimensions of the unit lens satisfy the relation of 0.4p≤h≤0.6p.
