PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo air-cleaning scheme that can give high air-cleaning performance by means of increasing contact opportunities between air to be treated and a photocatalyst in a simple construction using a fluorescent tube as it is. SOLUTION: A photocatalyst structure 1 is a cylindrical body attachable around a light source 5 that can emit exciting light. A photocatalyst that can be excited by the irradiation light from the light source 5 is supported by the photocatalyst structure 1. A photocatalyst 2 can be supported by the whole or a part of the gas-exposure region of the structure 1 which the irradiation light from the light source 5 can reach. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
