FIELD: construction, particularly roof covering by making use of flat or curved slabs or stiff sheets, namely connection therefore. ^ SUBSTANCE: metal strip connection comprises male and female edges folded one with another by triple bending thereof. Male and female edges have L-shaped cross-section with V-shaped extension made on short longitudinal flange of male edge. Short longitudinal flange of female edge is arranged inside the V-shaped extension. Metal strip connection method involves putting female L-shaped edge on male L-shaped edge so that short longitudinal flange of female edge is arranged in V-shaped extension of male edge; bending short longitudinal flanges of male and female edges up to pressing short longitudinal flange of male edge to transversal flange thereof along with bending transversal flanges of male and female edges towards long longitudinal flanges up to pressing V-shaped extension to long longitudinal flange of male edge. ^ EFFECT: increased air-tightness of the connection. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg |
