The method involves supplying parameter (5) by other control units existing in the vehicle. The electrically operating adjustment drive (3) is assigned to control unit (1) to evaluate the parameters and in dependence of evaluation of two parameters, sensitivity for detection of jamming situation is adjusted in two stages. The control unit adjusts sensitivity of adjustment drive for detection of jamming situation at operation of adjustment drive. An independent claim is also included for a device for execution of a method.
