A bookcase assembling method and a sectional bookcase thereof are provided to minimize an assembling time of a large sized bookcase, to simplify assembling work, and to assemble more practical bookcase. A sectional bookcase includes a first side plate(110), a second side plate(110'), a ceiling plate(150), bottom plates(140,140'), a middle shelf for addition, and a support. The first and second side plates(110,110') include rear plate coupling lines(111) and are disposed in parallel to make the rear plate coupling lines face each other. The ceiling plate(150) and the bottom plate(140,140') are fixed on an upper end and a lower end of the first and second side plates(110,110') to fix them. The middle shelf is foldably fixed on one surface of the second side plate via a hinge.
