PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint body capable of smoothly covering the outer faces of a socket and a spigot without a corrosion proof body abutting with a head part of a fixing member and getting caught. SOLUTION: The joint body is for water-tightly connecting the spigot of one fluid pipe to the socket 5 of another fluid pipe. The socket 5 is connected to the spigot by the fixing member 9 formed with at least the head part 9a projectingly toward the outside of the outer face of the socket 5. The head part 9a of the fixing member 9 is covered by a covering body 25 having a skid on the outer face, and the outer faces of the socket 5 and the spigot are covered by the corrosion proof body.
