A device for root transportation and cleaning comprises an activator made as a hollow cone which vortex is directed downwards and upper end surface is formed by movable plate with opening. The internal surface of the activator is mounted with a gap relative to the internal surface of the grating cleaner and formed by brushes of small diameter with elastic rods which driving axles have from below gear wheels mounted on the carrier axles. The carrier is arranged inside fixed gear wheel mounted on the basic frame in such a way that each brush has relative rotary motion. The activator rotates in the direction opposite to the rotational direction of the grating cleaner.
