<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate which produces a small amount of development sludge, even when used for a long period, facilitates maintenance of an automatic developing machine, and moreover, has less number of scratches and a manufacturing method for its base. <P>SOLUTION: The lithographic printing plate is manufactured, by coating the lithographic printing plate base with a thermal photosensitive layer, and then carrying out exposure and development using a developing solution of 13.0 or higher for pH. Here, the lithographic printing plate base is manufactured by subjecting an aluminum plate or aluminum alloy plate to roughening processing, performing anode oxidation processing, and further, carrying out postprocessing while the potential of the anode oxidation processing is 19 to 24V, the cell diameter of an oxide film on an anode is to be 45 to 55 mm, and an anode oxidation coating quantity is to be 3.0 to 4.0 g/m<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
