A charging agent that improves workability by having low viscosity and pour point, can reduce the cost by making it not necessary to invest separate facilities or use energy and using glycerine, and is environmentally friendly by reducing emission of pollutants is provided. A charging agent for producing coke comprises 50 to 70 wt.% of glycerine and 30 to 50 wt.% of alcohol. The charging agent for producing coke comprises 60 wt.% of glycerine and 40 wt.% of alcohol.
