<p>Process for extruding ABS resins comprises (a) providing an ABS resin which has not been subjected to melt mixing, (b) supplying the ABS resin to a mixer-cooler, (c) mixing the powdered resin with at least one pigment, lubricant and/or stabilising agent in the mixer-cooler, (d) supplying the premixed material under pressure to an extruder, (e) maintaining the material in the extruder at a temp. of 193-265 deg.C, and (f) extruding the material to give a finished product.</p> |
