摘要

FIELD: aluminum production by electrolysis of melt cryolite salts in aluminum cells arranged crosswise in housing. ^ SUBSTANCE: bus-bar structure includes struts mounted along lengthwise outer side of cell; assembly of cathode buses of inlet side with cathode outlets; built-up cathode buses of outlet side; packs of cathode buses placed under bottom of cell and packs of buses surrounding ends of cell. Struts are connected with anode buses of next cell. Outlet portion of bus-bar is made with use of aluminum sheets assembled with air gap and arranged vertically. ^ EFFECT: possibility of cell operation at increased electric current density without structural changes of material, lowered investment cost for mounting cells due to decreased mass of bus-bar. ^ 1 dwg, 1 ex
