PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable holder capable of holding a cable with no burden on the portion provided in the cable axial direction even if a tensile force acts on the cable, and also cable of preventing disconnection. SOLUTION: A cable side holding member 11 attached to a cable A1 is equipped with an abutment 13 that abuts on a case side holding member 12 which encloses almost entire outside periphery, at one part of the cable in lengthwise direction, and the outside peripheral surface side is provided on the case. The case side holding member 12 is equipped with an abutment 13 whose inside peripheral surface side abuts on the abutment 13. At least either an outside peripheral surface 13a side of the abutment or an inside peripheral surface 12a side of the abutment is so formed to grow larger in diameter, as advances from the outside to the inside of the case in the cable axial direction. A slit 15 that splits the abutment 13 in circumferential direction from the tip side in the cable axial direction of the abutment 13 is formed at the abutment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
