PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold assembly for insert molding forming a resin part having excellent quality, without performing post processing after insert molding, and a manufacturing method of an insert-molded product. SOLUTION: In the mold assembly for insert molding constituted so as to fill a cavity 38, which is arranged so as to surround the whole periphery of a shaft body 50 being an insert part, with a molten resin to integrally mold the shaft body 50 and the resin, the shaft body 50 is arranged so as to be erected in its longitudinal direction, the cavity 38 is filled with the resin through a receiving part 44 for receiving the resin and the receiving part 44 is connected to the cavity 38 through the opening part 37 opened to the side surface 38c of the cavity 38 along the diametric direction of the shaft body 50 so as to surround the whole periphery of the shaft body 50.
