<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ω-hydrofluoroalkyl ether compound which is useful, e.g., in cleaning and drying applications; its preparation; and its use. <P>SOLUTION: A normally liquid, ω-hydrofluoroalkyl ether compound (and selected mixtures thereof) has a saturated perfluoroaliphatic chain of carbon atoms interrupted by one or more ether oxygen atoms.
