The procedure for the improvement of water quality of acid water of open mining lakes, in which a calcium or calcium and magnesium containing feed materials with a pH value-dependent additive, in a first stage for initial neutralization, is introduced into the acid water and/or into water with acid inflow with a pH value of = 4.3, until the pH value exceeds a limit value of 3.5-5.5 and the acid potential portion of greater than 60%. In a second stage, an excess or additional caustic soda solution with a concentration of 0.5-50% is introduced into the water. The procedure for the improvement of water quality of acid water of open mining lakes, in which a calcium or calcium and magnesium containing feed materials with a pH value-dependent additive, in a first stage for initial neutralization, is introduced into the acid water and/or into water with acid inflow with a pH value of = 4.3, until the pH value exceeds a limit value of 3.5-5.5 and the acid potential portion of greater than 60% and in a second stage at a pH value of >= 3.5, an excess or additional caustic soda solution with a concentration of 0.5-50% is introduced into the relevant water, until the pH value exceeds a given limit value for the pH value of 5.5-8.5. The water is acidified by mining activities, by increasing of the pH value as a result of the entry of alkaline feed materials.
|
