<p>The exhaust emission control device which can provide a technique of more efficiently recovering an exhaust emission control capability, and which recover the exhaust emission control capability of a filter by supplying fuel to the filter provided in an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine to purify the exhaust, wherein, when the exhaust emission control capability of the filter is to be recovered, fuel is supplied to keep an atomizing degree comparatively low as shown in (b) when the temperature of the exhaust flowing into the filter is within a first specified range and the temperature of the filter is within a second specified range, and fuel is supplied to keep an atomizing degree comparatively high as shown in (a) when the temperature of the exhaust flowing into the filter is lower than then the lower limit of the first specified range or the temperature of the filter is higher than upper limit of the second specified range.</p> |
