<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a method for superposing color images for solving the problem that a number of new techniques related to a method for decreasing color deviation in a color image forming apparatus have been proposed, and conventionally, propositions related to a means for correcting the shape of a scanning line, a means for detecting the color deviation, and a controlling means for correction based on the detected result are disclosed, but the proposition related to the method for superposing the color images has not been done before. <P>SOLUTION: A curve and an inclination are generated on the scanning line on a photo-conductor caused by a manufacturing error and a fitting error of a scanning lens. The curve after the inclination is corrected is corrected by pressing the central part of a second scanning lens. After correction, the shape of the scanning line becomes approximately either a W-shape, a reverse W-shape, a V-shape, or a reverse V-shape. The W-shape and the V-shape are named as an order direction and the reverse W-shape and the reverse V-shape are named as a reverse direction. When the direction of a reference scanning line and the directions of other scanning lines are the same direction, the color deviation is decreased only by making both ends of the scanning lines coincide with each other. When the directions are not the same, positions of the scanning lines are deviated by specified amounts, and then, they are superposed on each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
