PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system and radio apparatus in which reception can be highly accurately performed without increasing power consumption even when control data are allocated to a wide-band signal. SOLUTION: A transmitting apparatus allocates one modulation signal to two subcarriers having frequency differences of a first frequency from each other, applies inverse Fourier transform to modulation signals of the subcarriers, respectively, generates an OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) modulation signal with a second frequency higher than the first frequency as a sample speed and transmits the OFDM modulation signal by radio. On the other hand, a receiving apparatus converts a radio signal received by a receiving analog part 22 into a baseband signal. An A/D converting part 24 then samples the baseband signal with the first frequency as a sampling frequency. Thus, subcarriers transmitting the identical information are sampled in a composite state by aliasing on the basis of a difference between the transmitting-side sampling frequency and the receiving-side sampling frequency.
