An ATM(Automated Teller Machine) for sensing action patterns and an operation method thereof are provided to prohibit a user's abnormal action pattern by detecting the abnormal action pattern, displaying the user's face, and warning the user. An ATM for sensing action patterns is composed of a camera(15) for taking a picture of the users' faces; an action pattern database(17) for storing action patterns for each transaction that the user has to act according to each kind of transactions; a sensor(13) for detecting the external breakage of the ATM; a display unit(12) for displaying the users' faces photographed by the camera; a warning unit(18) for generating a warning alarm if the user's abnormal action is detected; and a control unit(10) having an algorism for displaying the user's face and generating a warning alarm when the user's abnormal action is detected. |
