A vehicle starting delay system is provided to prevent a driver from driving off from a gas station after oil supply by restricting ignition of the vehicle for a predetermined time by operating a relay when a fuel cap is closed. A vehicle starting delay system includes a vehicle panel(100), a housing(110), and a robbery prevention switch(140). The housing with a fuel filling port(111) is installed at the vehicle panel. A fuel cap(120) is engaged with an end of the fuel filling port. The robbery prevention switch is installed at the housing to be operated by the fuel cap. The robbery prevention switch is electrically connected to a relay(150). The relay cuts off power applied to an ignition switch for a certain time. The ignition switch is connected to the relay to be operated when a vehicle starts.
