Provided is a battery cooling system of a hybrid engine vehicle (HEV) to increase the cooling speed of a battery and to improve the cooling effect of a battery. The battery cooling system comprises an inflow hole(22); a cooling duct(23) which connects the air inflow hole and a battery case(21); a discharge duct(24) which connects the battery case and an air outflow hole; a rear duct(11) connected to an air conditioner(10); an auxiliary duct(12) which connects the cooling duct; a cooling door(13) installed on the auxiliary duct; and a control part which operates the air conditioner according to the surface temperature of a battery(20) and opens and closes the cooling door. |
