PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calculation/mathematics teaching material with which a learner of any grade can learn with joy without using a textbook and also can master rules of arithmetic while knowing general mathematical ideas of numbers and increasing ability to think logically. SOLUTION: The calculation/mathematics teaching material is made by combining a random number selecting means 4 including minus numbers, a game board 1 which has squares 3a to 3n with minus number in decreasing order from a start point 1a to a minus end pole 1c while having squares 2a to 2n with plus number in increasing order from the start point 1a to a plus end pole 1b, and a game piece. Operations between a number selected at random by the random number selecting means 4 and numbers in the squares 2a to 2n and 3a to 3n where the game piece is placed are carried out according to a given rule and the game piece is moved on the squares 2a to 2n and 3a to 3n according to numerals obtained by the operations.
