PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device, capable of keeping an operator informed of a temperature rise and processing that is carried out for reducing the output. SOLUTION: The ambient temperature of a final amplifier in the transmitter unit of the radio communication device is detected by a temperature IC 1, the temperature detected by the temperature IC 1 is displayed on an LCD display 9 provided on the surface of the radio communication device; and when the detected temperature exceeds a predetermined temperature, while a transmission operation is being carried out, output reduction control of the final amplifier is carried out by an amplifier output control means 10.
