PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide cover which can be stably and smoothly opened and closed and is low-profile and easily assembled to a main body. SOLUTION: The slide cover 30 is composed of: a cover external plate 70; a structure member 80 which is fixed to the back of the cover external plate; a holding member 90 which is movably positioned relatively to the cover external plate and the structure member; and a toggle means 100 provided between the holding member and cover external plate or structure member. The structure member is provided with guide long holes 81 in both ends and the holding member is composed of a holding plate and a guide 93 which is supported by the holding plate. The guide is freely slidably engaged with the guide long holes and a direction in which the toggle means energizes the holding member is reversed at a nearly intermediate position in the relative movement range of the holding member with respect to the cover plate and the structure member.
