The device has a flange connection for connecting a flow through device (1) at a lug, and a dual barrier (6) that is designed as a locking armature. A measuring device is guided directly into the flow through device and the test sample is taken out directly from the flow center of the flow through device. The dual barrier is provided with a sealing unit, and with a gate valve. The dual barrier has a contact face close to a main stream. An independent claim is also included for a method for insertion/removal of a test sample into/from a flowing medium.
