PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve tasks of exhausting high global warming coefficient CO<SB>2</SB>during the production of a polymer because of the use of a polymer derived from petroleum as a raw material composed of an inorganic particulate filler component, a fibrous filler component and a binder component, and of having difficulties in waste disposal treatment at the end of a product's life and big environmental burdens. SOLUTION: The molding material is composed of an inorganic particulate filler component, the fibrous filler component and a binder component containing a biomass as a main component. The molding material reduces exhaust of CO<SB>2</SB>during polymer synthesis by virtue of using the biomass as the main component, and has high hydrolyzability by using the biomass component and is rich in an ester portion also after thermal curing and can be easily disposed.
