A device for processing a block ACK frame of a wireless LAN and a method thereof are provided to efficiently utilize a transmission channel through a block ACK policy defined in IEEE 802.11 e. A device for processing a block ACK frame of a wireless LAN includes a block ACK bitmap storing unit(100), a block ACK bitmap generating unit(200), and a block ACK frame generating unit(300). The block ACK bitmap storing unit(100) stores bitmap information referred when constituting a bitmap filed of a block ACK frame. The block ACK bitmap generating unit(200) constitutes block ACK bitmap information based on information of a data frame received by a block unit, and stores the information in the block ACK bitmap storing unit(100). The block ACK frame generating unit(300) receives an effective block ACK request frame, obtains the corresponding bitmap information of the block ACK request frame from the block ACK bitmap storing unit(100), and transmits the generated block ACK frame.
