PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein there is a possibility of deterioration of a cooling/heating function as a function of top priority for an air conditioner, caused by unintended stop of operation of the air conditioner during a normal operation when the operations are repeated in a short time, in an air conditioning device having an automatic cleaning function by an automatic cleaning device provided with suction holes on a drivable belt, and performing automatic cleaning by suction by a suction nozzle of variable suction places, to reduce labor hours for maintenance of an air filter. SOLUTION: Customer dissatisfaction that a cleaning operation is started in a state that a room does not have a desired temperature, can be solved by performing the cleaning operation at a timing of next stop after the elapse of 24 hours, by inhibiting a cleaning mode when only a short time has passed from the start of an operation.
