PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly connect a column supporting base with a wooden column and the wooden column with a wooden beam, prevent occurrence of crack and buckling even when the wooden column receives swing force from any direction, and maintain the connection relation even when diameter is contracted or extended due to change with age. SOLUTION: This metal fitting for joining and firmly tightening is constituted by erecting the wooden column B on a column supporting base (a) through a column receiving frame body (b) which attaches or detaches an abutting plate 15 to/from a core plate 14 of an L-shaped frame 13 freely, connecting and holding the column receiving frame body (b) with/on the column supporting base (a) by a connection holding device (c) so as to tilt slightly, fitting a core plate 39 for beam of a metal fitting main body (f) attached by letting a vertically provided channel 57 of the wooden column B receive a core plate 40 for column into the vertically provided channel 57 of the wooden beam F, and tightening them firmly by firmly tightening and holding devices (j), (k). As a result, it is possible to prevent the beam and the column from causing crack and buckling due to swing force by earthquake while increasing degree of joining of the beam and the column and degree of connection and fixation of the column supporting base and the column and follow contraction or extension of diameter due to change with age to maintain them in a proper condition.
