The boiler has heat transmission pipes, and a bypass pipe (4) with an inlet end and outlet end. A cooling medium e.g. water, feeding device provides water to a casing side of the pipes. A gas passage region is overlapped by an inner contour (19) of the outlet end, where cross section of the region extends uniformly or non-uniformly independent of position of an opened connector (12) in a flow direction of exhaust gas stream.
