The trailer tarpaulin (1) has its front vertical part in the drive direction replaced or supplemented by a pyramid-shaped or frusto-pyramid part (2) which fits by its base against the upright end of the tarpaulin and tapers pointed towards the trailer hitch (4). The tip of this pyramid is connected to the drawbar in the drive direction behind the tractor.
