Provided are an information processing device, method, and program capable of analyzing a waveform of a music composition having modulation by using a small calculation amount. A beat characteristic amount extraction unit (41) extracts a characteristic amount relating to a beat in the section divided for each beat. A beat characteristic amount removal unit (42) removes a phase component from a frequency component of the extracted characteristic amount. A self correlation map generation unit (43) generates self correlation information indicating correlation between a certain section and another section according to the characteristic amount from which the phase component has been removed. Thus, it is possible to analyze a waveform of a music composition having modulation with a small calculation amount. The present invention may be employed in an information processing device.
