<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet, which has improved lustrous properties and color developing properties, little splitting at folding and favorable light exposure properties and mottling properties. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet recording sheet comprises at least one porous ink accepting layer on a support, wherein the surface layer locating the farthest from the support is emulsion-polymerized by employing polyvinyl alcohol as protective colloid for emulsion polymerization so as to set to include a thermoplastic resin having a particle diameter of 50-150 nm, a glass transition temperature (Tg) of at least 60°C and a refractive index of 1.4-1.65, fine inorganic particles and a binder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
