<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a need to temporally suppressing the transmission of a next character by measuring a time according to a program of an MCU in order to provide an inter-character time when requesting the inter-character time between characters as one unit of communication data. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for transmitting data by start-stop type communication based on a predetermined transmission rate, when requesting the inter-character time between characters as one unit of communication data, the data are transmitted by switching to stop bit number setting adding bits as many as fulfilling the inter-character time to the number of stop bits defined at a transmitting/receiving side as the number of stop bits in the character, particularly, it is the case of requesting an inferior level period of a transmission line as the inter-character time between characters. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
