PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily manufacturable inkjet head which suppresses the remaining vibration of a pressure wave so as to stably eject an ink droplet, and an inkjet recording apparatus. SOLUTION: This inkjet head comprises a base member 11 in which a groove 14 for allowing the passage of ink is formed, and a nozzle plate 19 for forming an ink ejection channel 120 by closing the front of the groove 14. A driving electrode 15, which applies a driving voltage for deforming a channel wall 13, is formed on the channel wall 13 for forming the groove 14. The nozzle plate 19 is provided with a vibration absorbing material 30 for absorbing the remaining vibration generated after the deformation of the channel wall 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
